Rectification of Water Penetration

The subject unit suffered from water penetration from the aluminium sliding window & concrete cancer. Specialised rope access personal were deployed to aid in the remediation process.

The remedial building works can be summarised as follows:

• Removal and replacement of aluminium sliding window including the correct flashing
• Concrete cancer repairs & installation of sacrificial anodes
• Waterproofing detail to the internal face of the external walls
• Installation of internal aluminium plate to ensure watertightness to the windows
• Inspection of structural steel column
