Strata Complex Façade & Balconies Repairs & Upgrade

The subject building is four levels high with a concrete flat roof. The concrete flat roof element suffered from concrete cancer and water penetration issues. The building façade also suffered from the brickwork fretting.

The remedial works can be summarised as follows: 

  • Safety anchors installation & certificate to the roof area
  • Concrete cancer repairs to the concrete roof structure
  • Application of torch-on waterproofing membrane to eliminate water penetration
  • Façade salts extraction and preparation
  • Fretted bricks replacement
  • Masonry cracks repairs
  • Masonry expansion joints installation
  • Cavity flashing repairs
  • Complete façade rendering and painting
  • Balcony balustrade replacement
  • Balcony privacy screens replacement
  • Balcony waterproofing & retiling
  • Drainage upgrade
